...parking fees and permit charges will remain unchanged for the 2026/27 financial year, the free period for Homewood Park will be increased, recreational charging will be introduced at additional open space car parks, a two-hour 'no return period' will be standardised across all off-street car parks, a capital estimate of £24,000 will be approved for new Pay and Display machines, a supplementary revenue estimate of £3,000 will be approved for signage and Ring-go integration, £200,000 will be released from the Parking Reserve Fund for urgent maintenance at specified car parks, £5,000 will be released for cycle rack installation, a procurement process will begin for the listed services, and a revised capital estimate of £110,000 will be approved for the camera-assisted enforcement scheme.
