Budget Setting Meeting, Borough Council - Tuesday, 25 February 2025 7:30 pm
The meeting approved the council’s budget for 2025-26 and appointed an interim chief executive. It also discussed the Council Tax Support Scheme and a petition presented by a Councillor asking the council to rethink its policy of dimming streetlights.
Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education - Monday, 20 January 2025 7:00 pm
The Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) met to discuss a range of issues relating to religious education in the borough's schools, including the approval of 'determinations' for two schools' religious education syllabuses, plans for the next year, local updates and the membership of the council.
Central Hounslow Area Forum - Monday, 9 December 2024 7:30 pm
The Central Hounslow Area Forum met on the 9th of December at Holy Trinity Church in Hounslow. Before the formal meeting, an informal networking event was scheduled from 6.30 pm, with the formal meeting beginning at 7.30 pm.
Borough Council - Tuesday, 26 November 2024 7:30 pm
The meeting included four petitions on a variety of matters, discussion of the ‘state of the borough’ report, the appointment of a new Monitoring Officer and four proposed motions for debate by members. In addition the council considered reports on treasury management, the adoption of a new gambling policy, and constitutional matters. Lastly, five written questions to cabinet members were answered.
Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education - Monday, 18 November 2024 7:00 pm
The Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) was scheduled to hold a meeting to discuss a range of matters relating to religious education in the borough's schools. As well as considering the applications of Orchard Primary School for a determination on Religious Education, the meeting was also scheduled to receive updates on the body's membership and finances. There was to be a particular focus on planning for the following year, including a review of the Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education.
