This meeting included for discussion a review of the financial plans for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA), a consultation update on the Local Plan[^2] and the election of a new Vice-Chair. The Council voted to note a report about an increase to Councillor allowances for information and approved a motion celebrating the Council's success in supporting social workers. The Council also voted against motions to exempt or compensate charities for the rise in Employer National Insurance Contributions, and to condemn the Council for failing to take action to end the protest on Riverside Walk in Nine Elms. The Council voted to accept a Conservative amendment to a Labour motion on compassion at Christmas.

The committee noted reports about the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase 2 Report, Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) for 2023-24, and the Borough Residence Forum's most recent meeting. The committee also supported recommendations to adopt a new Vulnerable Residents Policy and to delegate authority to officers to make bids for affordable housing grants.

This meeting of the Borough Residents Forum was scheduled to receive an update on the Local Plan for the borough, as well as updates on the rollout of food waste collection on housing estates and the findings of the second phase of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry. The meeting was also scheduled to consider reports on the Council's performance on Tenant Satisfaction Measures and a draft Vulnerable Residents' Policy.
