The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, to consider proposals for the upcoming financial year's budget for Adult Care and Community Wellbeing. The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee met on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, to discuss the re-procurement of externally commissioned building-based day care services, the future of the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) service, and an extension to short breaks and emergency provision contracts. The committee resolved to support the recommendations made in relation to these items and to forward their comments to the Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Health.

Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 3rd December, 2025 10.00 am

The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the Integrated Lifestyle Service, the Adult Social Care Strategy, the Adult Social Care Target Operating Model, and service level performance. The committee agreed to support the recommendations to the executive regarding the Adult Social Care Strategy. Members also requested more information on smoking quit targets and discussed the committee's work programme, agreeing to add an extra meeting in March.
