Health and Social Care Scrutiny Commission - Monday 1 December 2025 7.00 pm

The Health and Social Care Scrutiny Commission meeting included a presentation on hoarding, an update on the Blue Badge scheme, and a review of Healthwatch Southwark's annual report and priorities. Also scheduled for discussion was the scrutiny review of cancer prevention and early diagnosis.

Ordinary meeting, Council Assembly - Wednesday 12 November 2025 7.00 pm

Southwark Council Assembly met to discuss resident's rights, ethical investments, and local funding, among other items. The council approved changes to its committee structure and investment strategy, and reappointed an independent advisor. Motions were passed regarding fairer funding, ethical investments, improvements to Peckham Rye Station, and Thames Water.

Planning Committee (Smaller Applications) - Tuesday 11 November 2025 7.00 pm

The Southwark Council Planning Committee (Smaller Applications) met on 11 November 2025 to discuss two planning applications. The first was for the demolition of an existing house and the construction of a new dwelling at Grove House, Dulwich Common. The second was for the replacement of temporary public toilets with a permanent structure at Camberwell Old Cemetery.

Planning Committee (Major Applications) B - Wednesday 5 November 2025 6.30 pm

The Planning Committee (Major Applications) B met on 5 November 2025, and approved the release of £250,000 for cycling infrastructure improvements on Mandela Way, and approved the demolition of Coburg House and erection of a new building comprising commercial floorspace and purpose built student accommodation. Councillor Richard Livingstone, Chair of the Planning Committee (Major Applications) B, informed the meeting that an addendum report and members' pack had been circulated.

Health and Social Care Scrutiny Commission - Thursday 16 October 2025 7.00 pm

The Health and Social Care Scrutiny Commission were scheduled to meet on 16 October 2025 to discuss cancer prevention and early diagnosis, the cabinet response to a report on nursing care home delivery, nursing care home space standards, their work programme, and the Asylum Road Care Home.
