The Licensing Sub Committee B of Islington Council met on 09 May 2024 and made a number of decisions on applications for new licences and variations to existing licences.

Audit and Risk Committee - Monday, 18th March, 2024 7.00 pm

The Islington Council Audit and Risk Committee meeting on 18 March 2024 approved the audited 2022/23 Statement of Accounts, noted the External Audit Findings Report for Islington Council, and approved the draft 2024/25 Internal Audit Plan. The committee also discussed the council's whistleblowing procedures, the progress of a review of its constitution, and considered the risk of instability in the social care market.

Licensing Committee - Tuesday, 12th March, 2024 6.30 pm

The Licensing Committee received the Late-Night Levy Annual Report, discussed the role of Operation Nightsafe and the new Operation Leuctra, noted that discussion of the Draft Culture Strategy would be deferred to a future meeting, and received and discussed a guidance note about the relationship between planning and licensing.

Licensing Sub Committee B - Tuesday, 27th February, 2024 6.30 pm

The Licensing Sub Committee B met on 27 February 2024 and made three decisions. They refused an application for a new premises licence by Drip at 27 Clerkenwell Road, a new application by Rush Cocktails at Basement, 100 Old Street was also refused. The Sub-Committee granted the application for a new premises licence made by Hotel Indigo at 2 Clerkenwell Road.
