Business Meeting, Overview & Scrutiny Committee - Monday, 8th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The Overview & Scrutiny Committee of Enfield Council met on Monday 8 September 2025 to discuss the council's scrutiny work programmes for the coming year, and to receive updates on the performance and financial sustainability of two council-owned companies. The committee was also scheduled to review the minutes of their previous meeting. Councillor Nicki Adeleke, Chair of the OSC, was scheduled to chair the meeting.

General Purposes Committee - Wednesday, 23rd July, 2025 7.00 pm

The General Purposes Committee of Enfield Council met to discuss several key reports, including the annual reports on contract procedure rules, procurement services, internal audit, and counter fraud. The committee was also scheduled to review the audited statement of accounts and pension fund accounts for 2023/24, receive an update on the 2024/25 accounts, and consider a polling place review and modern democracy polling app. Finally, the committee was expected to review the Corporate Risk Register.

Schools Forum - Wednesday, 2nd July, 2025 5.30 pm

The Enfield Council Schools Forum met to discuss the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) budget, school balances, and other financial matters. The forum noted the updated DSG allocations and budget positions for 2024/25 and 2025/26, as well as the school balances as of 31 March 2025. They also reviewed the process for schools in deficit and the controls on surplus balances.
