Audit and Governance Committee - Tuesday 14 October 2025 10.30 am

The Audit and Governance Committee of Wiltshire Council met on 14 October 2025, and addressed a range of issues including internal and external audit reports, the council's statutory recommendation, anti-fraud activity, and the governance of the Stone Circle companies. The committee voted to recommend that Full Council approve a response to a statutory written recommendation from external auditors, and also agreed to receive biannual updates on the Stone Circle companies.

South West Wiltshire Area Board - Wednesday 17 September 2025 6.30 pm

The South West Wiltshire Area Board met to discuss community grants, local policing, and highway improvements. The board approved funding for a bend warning sign in Sedgehill and considered grant applications from several local organisations. Councillors also heard updates from Wiltshire Police and discussed local priorities.

Finance and Procurement Select Committee - Tuesday 9 September 2025 3.00 pm

The Finance and Procurement Select Committee met to discuss the council's projected revenue and capital budget monitoring for the first quarter of the 2025/26 financial year, with a projected £6.510m overspend on revenue and a capital programme of £245.577m. The committee made a number of recommendations to the cabinet, including requesting written reports on the adult social care payments to providers programme, the safety valve outturn, and payment process fees for parking. The committee also requested that the cabinet response to the fair funding consultation be circulated to all members.

Finance and Procurement Select Committee - Wednesday 30 July 2025 10.30 am

The Finance and Procurement Select Committee met to consider its work priorities and approach, and to review the financial year 2024/25 revenue and capital outturn positions, as well as the treasury management outturn position. The committee was also scheduled to discuss a member question regarding the council's levels of debt.

Council - Tuesday 22 July 2025 10.30 am

Wiltshire Council met on 22 July 2025, and among the topics discussed were youth services, treasury management, a bat mitigation strategy, and a motion to repudiate the council's climate emergency declaration. Councillors also debated and voted on motions regarding weight limits on roads and the Ask Angela scheme.
