Local Planning Committee - Tuesday, 1st October, 2024 6.30 pm

The Local Planning Committee approved the construction of a new dwelling house to the rear of a takeaway on Woolwich Road, Greenwich. It also approved the change of use of a property on Sidcup Road, Blackheath, to a 7-bedroom House of Multiple Occupation (HMO), and granted permission for the retention of an outbuilding to the rear of a ground floor flat on Alwold Crescent in Eltham.

Local Planning Committee - Tuesday, 24th September, 2024 6.30 pm

The meeting saw the approval of a retrospective planning application for a single storey rear infill extension at 34 Fairthorn Road, as well as the approval of an application for the construction of a nine-storey extension to the Vista Building on Calderwood Street. The committee also approved a contentious application for the conversion and extension of an existing outbuilding at 118 Woodhill Road, and the change of use from a residential dwelling to a six-person HMO at 64 Holburne Road.

Council - Wednesday, 24th July, 2024 7.00 pm

This meeting of the full council saw the appointment of Councillor Majid Rahman as the new Cabinet Member for Planning, Estate Renewal and Development, replacing Councillor Aidan Smith who has left the council to take up a new role elsewhere. The council also voted to approve the adoption of a new Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) charging schedule and to allow for the appointment of political assistants for both the Labour and Conservative groups.

Organisation and Communities Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 18th July, 2024 6.30 pm

The Organisation and Communities Scrutiny Panel meeting on 18 July 2024 contained a light agenda, with the most significant item for discussion being the Panel's work programme for the forthcoming year. The meeting also received an update from the Cabinet Member for Finance, Resources and Social Value and discussed the memberships of Councillors on outside bodies.
