Licensing (Public Protection) Committee - Tuesday, 18th November, 2025 6.30 pm

The Licensing (Public Protection) Committee met on Tuesday 18 November 2025, noting the annual review of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing for 2024/25, which highlighted increases in licensed drivers, hackney carriage vehicles and private hire operators, alongside a decrease in private hire vehicles. The committee also acknowledged the high volume of complaints received, predominantly related to driver behaviour, driving standards and parking issues.

Extraordinary Meeting, Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority - Wednesday, 12th November, 2025 11.30 am

The Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire Authority convened an extraordinary meeting to discuss the future of the On-Call service and operational independence for the Chief Fire Officer. Councillor Llew Monger, Authority Chair, was scheduled to chair the meeting. The main item for consideration was a public consultation on these topics.

Thames Valley Police and Crime Panel - Friday, 7th November, 2025 10.30 am

The Thames Valley Police and Crime Panel were scheduled to meet to discuss violence reduction, local command units, anti-social behaviour, domestic violence, police communications and the annual assurance report. The panel were also scheduled to receive updates from Councillor Peter Gammond, Co-Opted Independent Member and Chairman of the Panel, and Matthew Barber, Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Thames Valley.

Central & North Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee - Wednesday, 5th November, 2025 2.00 pm

The Central & North Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee met to discuss planning application 25/00199/APP, which concerns the erection of nine homes on land north of Mursley Road in Little Horwood. The report pack recommends that the decision be deferred and delegated to the Service Director of Planning and Environment for approval, pending publicity of the application as a departure from the Development Plan and the satisfactory completion of a Section 106 agreement[^2].
