The Health and Wellbeing Overview and Scrutiny Committee (OSC) was scheduled to meet to discuss patient services at Berwick Community Hospital, and to review the committee's work programme. The meeting was also scheduled to include a review of the minutes from recent Health & Wellbeing Board meetings, and the latest forward plan of key decisions made by the cabinet. Councillor T. Austin was scheduled to replace Councillor S. Simm on the Health and Wellbeing OSC for the coming year.

The Family and Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to meet to discuss the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) strategy, and to review progress on care proceedings and public law outlines. The committee was also scheduled to review decisions taken by the cabinet, and the committee's work programme.

The Corporate Services and Economic Growth Overview and Scrutiny Committee (CSEG OSC) met to discuss the council's financial performance, the impact of Universal Credit on housing tenants, and the upcoming work programme. The committee was also scheduled to receive an update on the Fair Funding Review.

The committee acknowledged the contents of the annual report, and noted the progress and impact of services for children, young people and their families.

The committee also reviewed its work programme for the 2025/26 council year and noted the latest Forward Plan of key decisions.
