The Licensing Sub-Committee of Barnet Council met to discuss an application for a new Adult Gaming Centre Licence for Palace Amusements at 4-6 North End Road, Golders Green. Despite objections from local residents, the sub-committee granted the licence, subject to mandatory conditions and additional conditions agreed with the police.

Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday 10th June, 2025 7.00 pm

The Strategic Planning Committee met to discuss the redevelopment of the Lodge Lane Car Park in North Finchley. Councillors voted to approve the planning permission for the site, despite concerns raised about the lack of affordable housing, the impact on heritage, and daylight and sunlight for nearby residents. The committee also elected Councillor Richard Barnes as the vice chair.
