Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee - Wednesday 19 November 2025 10.30 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee met on 19 November 2025, and agreed to note an update on the Wiltshire Community Strategic Partnership's work, including improvements to systems for the public to report anti-social behaviour, and to receive a further update in six months. The committee also endorsed the findings and recommendations of a Rapid Scrutiny Exercise on corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), while expressing disappointment at the Executive's limited acceptance of the recommendations, and agreed to consider two notices of motion regarding screenwash and billposting, task group updates, and select committee forward work programmes.

Standards Assessment Sub-Committee - Thursday 6 November 2025 1.30 pm

The Standards Assessment Sub-Committee of Wiltshire Council was scheduled to meet on Thursday 6 November 2025 to elect a chair and vice-chair, review past minutes, and assess two complaints against councillors. The meeting was scheduled to take place at the County Hall in Trowbridge. It was expected that the public would be excluded for the discussion of the complaints.

Strategic Planning Committee - Thursday 23 October 2025 10.30 am

The Strategic Planning Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss a planning application for a solar farm, as well as updates on planning appeals. The committee was also expected to review the minutes from their previous meeting. Public participation was also on the agenda, allowing members of the public to voice their opinions on the matters being discussed.

Council - Tuesday 21 October 2025 10.30 am

The Wiltshire Council meeting on 21 October 2025 addressed a range of topics, including the approval of the Our Wiltshire Plan 2025-2035, an update on the council's response to the climate emergency, and discussions on various motions from council members. The council also considered supplementary planning documents related to air quality and the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site. Additionally, the council addressed questions from members regarding tourism, council investments in Israel, and other local issues.

The Wiltshire Council was scheduled to meet to discuss a statutory recommendation from external auditors, Grant Thornton, regarding delays in the preparation of the council's financial accounts. The council was expected to consider the recommendation and approve a response.
