Private Rented Sector in Lewisham Task and Finish Group - Thursday, 10th October, 2024 6.30 pm

This meeting was to consider the findings and recommendations of the Private Rented Sector in Lewisham Task and Finish Group, which had been looking at the problems faced by tenants and landlords in the borough. The meeting was also to note the minutes of the group's previous meetings on 21 September 2023 and 27 March 2024. Any decisions made during this meeting are not yet publicly available.

Council - Wednesday, 2nd October, 2024 7.30 pm

The most significant item included on the agenda for this meeting of the full council was a report on the final outturn position of the treasury management activities for the 2023/24 financial year, and the mid-year review of the 2024/25 financial year. In addition to this, the Mayor was scheduled to make a number of announcements. There were no petitions for debate, and no motions submitted by councillors.

Healthier Communities Select Committee - Tuesday, 17th September, 2024 7.00 pm

The Healthier Communities Select Committee was scheduled to receive an update on Lewisham Council's work with unpaid carers in the borough. They were also scheduled to receive an update on the Council's work with the Social Care Institute for Excellence, and on the performance of adult social care.

Governance Committee - Wednesday, 11th September, 2024 7.00 pm

The Governance Committee met to confirm the minutes of the final meeting of the Constitution Working Party, which had taken place on 14 March 2023. The Committee confirmed the minutes without further discussion.

Housing Select Committee - Wednesday, 4th September, 2024 7.00 pm

This meeting included reports on the annual review of the Brockley PFI, an update on the Building for Lewisham development programme, and the Council's compliance with the Housing Ombudsman's Complaint Handling Code. The Council also presented their annual statutory reports to the Housing Ombudsman for scrutiny by the Committee.
