Call In Hearing, Place and Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 19th August 2025 7.00 pm
The Place and Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee convened to address a call-in regarding a cabinet decision on the Sustainability Strategy Review. Councillor Rosie Humphreys initiated the call-in, supported by several other councillors, to enable scrutiny of the implications of resolutions endorsed by the cabinet on 16 July 2025. The committee was scheduled to consider whether to refer the decision back to the cabinet, refer the matter to the full council, or take no further action.
Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday 19th August 2025 2.00 pm
The Strategic Planning Committee convened to discuss several planning applications, approving a storage and distribution building at Zone G, DIRFT, Crick, and an industrial and commercial development at Woolgrowers Field, Land North of Greens Norton Road, Towcester, subject to conditions. A decision on a renewable biomethane gas generation facility on Land to the West of A43 Buckingham Road, Evenley, was deferred.
