The Wandsworth Planning Applications Committee met on 23 July 2025, and approved four applications for permission to develop, and one application to vary conditions, while also discussing tree preservation orders and recent planning decisions. The committee approved the recommendations for applications at Merivale Road, Penwith Road, Thurleigh Road, Blenkarne Road and Chetwode Road.

The Wandsworth Council meeting included a tribute to former Councillor Len Harris, and a welcome to the new Chief Executive, Andrew Travers. Councillors debated traffic congestion in Putney, revisions to the local plan, and a motion on celebrating the 'summer of fun' in Wandsworth.

The Wandsworth Council Planning Applications Committee met in June to discuss a number of planning applications in the borough. Councillors approved plans for a new hotel on Ram Street, and the construction of new dwellings on Hereward Road and Mayford Road. They also approved a request to increase pupil numbers at Finton House School.

The Environment Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss a range of issues, including the development of a Biodiversity Action Plan, tree management, women and girls in sport, the library strategy, budget monitoring, and the committee's work programme. The committee agreed to support the recommendations in the Library Strategy.
