Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board - Friday, 12th December, 2025 10.00 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board is scheduled to convene to discuss community safety, review its work programme, and consider updates from scrutiny chairmen and lead members. A key focus of the meeting is to consider the annual update on Worcestershire County Council's statutory duties in relation to community safety, with a specific overview of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The board will also discuss and comment on the Cabinet Forward Plan.

Children and Families Overview and Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 27th November, 2025 10.00 am

The Children and Families Overview and Scrutiny Panel of Worcestershire Council were scheduled to meet on Thursday 27 November 2025 to discuss children and young people's emotional wellbeing and mental health services, performance and budget monitoring, and the panel's work programme. The meeting was due to take place at the Wychavon District Council in Pershore. During the meeting, councillors were expected to review performance data for education, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and social care.

Corporate and Communities Overview and Scrutiny Panel - Monday, 24th November, 2025 2.00 pm

The Corporate and Communities Overview and Scrutiny Panel met to discuss the annual update on libraries, the performance and budget monitoring for Quarter 2 of 2025/26, and the panel's work programme. The panel reviewed library performance, including the Libraries Unlocked program, and noted the financial position of the council, including forecasts for reserves and high needs funding. The panel also agreed to retain the flexibility to take into account any urgent issues which may arise in their work programme.

Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board - Monday, 17th November, 2025 2.00 pm

The Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board met on 17 November 2025 to discuss local government reorganisation in Worcestershire, as well as to review scrutiny chairs' updates, the work programme, and the cabinet forward plan. The meeting was held at Wychavon District Council Offices, in Pershore. Councillors were expected to consider and comment on these topics.

Worcestershire County Council met on 6 November 2025, and councillors primarily discussed the proposal for a single unitary authority in Worcestershire, the interim external auditor's report, and a recommendation to approve changes to the capital programme. The council also considered an amendment to the LGPS Central Shareholder Representative Delegation, and a number of notices of motion.
