The Cabinet of Worcestershire Council met on Thursday 23 October 2025 to discuss a range of issues, including the future of Powick Old Bridge, secondary school place planning in Worcester City, and options for the County Hall site. Corporate Parenting Board - Tuesday, 7th October, 2025 2.00 pm
The Corporate Parenting Board met to discuss the annual reports for care leavers and youth voice, as well as other matters relating to children and families. The board was also scheduled to appoint a vice-chair and review its work plan.
Health and Wellbeing Board - Monday, 29th September, 2025 2.00 pm
The Worcestershire Health and Well-being Board met to discuss the Joint Local Health Well-being Board Strategy, the Health and Work Strategy, the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, the Health Protection Group, the Integrated Commissioning Executive Officers Group, and the Better Care Fund. The board noted the progress being made in delivering the Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JLHWS) and supported the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Strategy (ICS) Health and Work Strategy. The board was asked to review the summary and recommendations of the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA), and delegate final approval for publication to the PNA working group.
Cabinet - Thursday, 25th September, 2025 10.00 am
Worcestershire County Council's cabinet met to discuss plans to get more people into work and the latest budget monitoring report. The cabinet approved the Get Worcestershire Working Plan, and also agreed to stop further work on the Redditch Railway Station project, recommending that the council remove it from the Capital Programme. Councillors also discussed the financial challenges facing the council, including overspends in adult and children's social care.
Council - Thursday, 11th September, 2025 10.00 am
The Worcestershire County Council met to discuss a range of issues, including treasury management, school places, local government reorganisation, and climate change. Councillors approved a healthcare parking permit scheme, but rejected a motion to withdraw the council's bid for a single unitary authority. They also agreed with the scientific consensus that man-made climate change exists.
