Health and Wellbeing Board - Tuesday, 18th November, 2025 2.00 pm
The Worcestershire Health and Wellbeing Board was scheduled to meet on Tuesday, 18 November 2025. The agenda included discussion of annual reports from the Worcestershire Safeguarding Adults Board and the Worcestershire Safeguarding Children Partnership, as well as the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment annual summary and the Neighbourhood Health Programme for 2025-26. Worcestershire County Council met on 6 November 2025, and councillors primarily discussed the proposal for a single unitary authority in Worcestershire, the interim external auditor's report, and a recommendation to approve changes to the capital programme. The council also considered an amendment to the LGPS Central Shareholder Representative Delegation, and a number of notices of motion.

The Cabinet of Worcestershire Council met on Thursday 23 October 2025 to discuss a range of issues, including the future of Powick Old Bridge, secondary school place planning in Worcester City, and options for the County Hall site. The Worcestershire Health and Well-being Board met to discuss the Joint Local Health Well-being Board Strategy, the Health and Work Strategy, the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, the Health Protection Group, the Integrated Commissioning Executive Officers Group, and the Better Care Fund. The board noted the progress being made in delivering the Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JLHWS) and supported the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Strategy (ICS) Health and Work Strategy. The board was asked to review the summary and recommendations of the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA), and delegate final approval for publication to the PNA working group.
