This meeting was scheduled to discuss a range of topics including petitions, the state of the borough, the appointment of a new monitoring officer, questions from councillors, and three motions. A report on two petitions referred for consideration by ward councillors was also scheduled to be noted by the council.
Pension Fund Panel - Monday, 16 September 2024 5:00 pm
The Pension Fund Panel noted the detail outlined in each of the reports presented to them. The Panel noted that there was a plan to recruit two new pension officers at a lower level and agreed that they should be promoted as they gain experience. The Panel also agreed to note the progress on the transfer of Pension Fund assets to implement the agreed strategic asset allocation.
Heston and Cranford Area Forum - Thursday, 12 September 2024 6:30 pm
The meeting heard a presentation on proposed changes to Area Forums and considered a range of local issues. Decisions were made on the location for a new children's play area and on how to prevent unauthorised vehicles accessing the green on the Brabazon Estate.
