Southern Area Planning Committee - Thursday 11 December 2025 3.00 pm

The Southern Area Planning Committee is scheduled to meet to discuss a diversion order for a public footpath, planning appeals, and an application to build a retail unit. The committee will consider representations and objections to a made order regarding a footpath diversion, and will also review completed and pending planning appeals. Finally, they will discuss and potentially make a determination on a planning application for a new retail unit in Salisbury.

Salisbury Area Board - Thursday 4 December 2025 6.00 pm

The Salisbury Area Board met to discuss community grants, updates from partners and local organisations, and local highway improvements. The board was scheduled to discuss grant applications for the Salisbury Men's Shed, Wiltshire Creative, Splash Wiltshire, Salisbury Transition City CIC, The Men's Group at Salisbury Rugby Club, HomeStart South Wiltshire, and Folio Theatre. They were also scheduled to receive updates on the Salisbury Transportation Strategy, City Hall, and the Area Board Priorities Action Plan.

Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel - Tuesday 25 November 2025 10.30 am

The Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel met to discuss a number of issues, including an update from Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson, OBE, MPhil, a performance report, and retail crime. The meeting was also scheduled to include a discussion of the role of special constables and ways to improve communication with the public.

The Southern Area Planning Committee scheduled a meeting to discuss planning appeals, updates, and consider planning applications. The committee was also scheduled to review the minutes from the previous meeting held on 9 October 2025. One planning application regarding the demolition of an existing dwelling and garage and replacement with a new dwelling was set to be discussed.

Council - Tuesday 21 October 2025 10.30 am

The Wiltshire Council meeting on 21 October 2025 addressed a range of topics, including the approval of the Our Wiltshire Plan 2025-2035, an update on the council's response to the climate emergency, and discussions on various motions from council members. The council also considered supplementary planning documents related to air quality and the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site. Additionally, the council addressed questions from members regarding tourism, council investments in Israel, and other local issues.
