Buckinghamshire Local Access Forum - Wednesday, 9th July, 2025 10.00 am

The Buckinghamshire Local Access Forum met to discuss a number of issues, including a proposed renewal of a Public Spaces Protection Order, the development of a new Local Transport Plan, and a proposal to make the Icknield Way a National Trail. The forum was also scheduled to discuss its annual review, promoted routes in Buckinghamshire, an update on the East West Rail project, and rights of way in the area.

Council - Wednesday, 9th July, 2025 4.00 pm

The Buckinghamshire Council met to discuss several key issues, including the appointment of a returning officer, cabinet member reports, and motions related to local plans and funding. Councillors approved the appointment of Lisa Marie Williams as the returning officer and electoral registration officer, and also approved a motion to engage with water and sewage providers on capacity investment in the local plan. A motion regarding transparency of member fees was referred to the Standards and General Purpose Committee.

At a meeting of Buckinghamshire Council's cabinet, members noted the progress of the Opportunity Bucks programme, the Shareholder Committee, and the first quarter budget management, and approved changes to the capital programme and fees and charges.

Senior Appointments and Pay Committee - Thursday, 26th June, 2025 2.00 pm

The Senior Appointments and Pay Committee of Buckinghamshire Council met to discuss pay orientation and the annual pay review timeline. They were also scheduled to approve the minutes of previous meetings and discuss confidential matters.

Transport, Environment, Communities & Climate Change Select Committee - Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 10.00 am

The Transport, Environment, Climate Change and Communities Committee met to discuss key priorities and challenges within their respective portfolios. Councillor David Carroll was appointed Vice-Chairman of the committee. The committee also discussed their work programme for the coming year, agreeing to discuss flooding responses, electric vehicle infrastructure, and digital exclusion at their next meeting.
