The Statutory Licensing Sub-Committee convened to consider an application for a summary licence review of CroBar at 14 Horsemarket, Barnard Castle. The review was initiated following a certificate issued by a senior police officer, asserting the premises' association with serious crime. Councillors T Robson, J Blakey, L Brown and M Burnard were scheduled to attend the meeting.

The committee noted the Quarter Four Performance Management Report, which highlighted both positive achievements and areas needing improvement, and reviewed the findings of the Operation Trailblazer evaluation, which will inform future strategies for tackling anti-social behaviour.

The Statutory Licensing Sub-Committee of County Durham Council met to consider an application to review the club premises certificate for the Barnard Castle Workingmen's Club and Institute (also referred to as Barnard Castle WMC).
