The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's Full Council met on 22 October 2025, and addressed the borough's medium-term financial strategy, adopted an updated local code of corporate governance, and approved changes to standing orders and the municipal timetable. Councillors also debated motions on pension fund investments in temporary accommodation, becoming a Borough of Sanctuary, street scene enhancements, changes to the Integrated Care Board[^2], and council tax waivers for terminally ill residents.
Licensing Committee - Thursday, 16th October, 2025 10.00 am
The Kensington and Chelsea Licensing Committee met to discuss and note the proposed revisions to the council's statement of licensing policy 2026-2031, which is required under the Licensing Act 2003. The committee reviewed feedback from a public consultation and considered amendments to the policy. The updated policy will be presented to the Leadership Team and then to the Full Council for adoption.
