The meeting was intended to provide an update on the work of Public Health and other partners aimed at improving health and wellbeing in Worcestershire, as well as to examine the performance and challenges faced by the West Midlands Ambulance Service in the county.

The Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board (OSPB) met to discuss community safety in Worcestershire, review their work programme, and receive updates from scrutiny chairmen and lead members. A key focus of the meeting was scheduled to be the annual update on community safety, with a specific overview of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The board was also expected to discuss and comment on the Cabinet Forward Plan.
