Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board - Monday, 17th November, 2025 2.00 pm

The Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board met on 17 November 2025 to discuss local government reorganisation in Worcestershire, as well as to review scrutiny chairs' updates, the work programme, and the cabinet forward plan. The meeting was held at Wychavon District Council Offices, in Pershore. Councillors were expected to consider and comment on these topics.

Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Monday, 10th November, 2025 10.00 am

The Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee met on Monday 10 November 2025 to discuss an update from the Integrated Care Board, an overview of common neurological conditions, and the committee's work programme. Representatives from the NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board (HWICB), Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care Trust (HWHCT) and Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust (WAHT) were expected to be in attendance. Councillor Karen May, Chair of the Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, was scheduled to chair the meeting.

Council - Thursday, 6th November, 2025 10.00 am

Worcestershire County Council met on 6 November 2025, and councillors primarily discussed the proposal for a single unitary authority in Worcestershire, the interim external auditor's report, and a recommendation to approve changes to the capital programme. The council also considered an amendment to the LGPS Central Shareholder Representative Delegation, and a number of notices of motion.

Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board - Thursday, 16th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board met to discuss the One Worcestershire local government reorganisation proposal, its financial implications, and the scrutiny work programme for the coming year. Councillors expressed concerns about the lack of a complete business case, the potential for council tax increases, and the need for public consultation. The Board agreed to explore options for an additional meeting to scrutinise the One Worcestershire proposal before it goes to the full council.

Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 10th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (HOSC) met on 10 October 2025 to discuss the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, winter planning, and to refresh the scrutiny work programme for 2025/26. Representatives from Worcestershire County Council's Public Health Team, NHS England (NHSE), NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board (HWICB) and the Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC) were expected to be in attendance. Councillor Karen May, Chair of the Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, was scheduled to chair the meeting.
