The Wandsworth Council Conservation and Heritage Advisory Committee met on 14 July 2025 to discuss several planning applications, including a 34-storey tower building next to the Heliport, a two-storey dwellinghouse on Burstock Road, revisions to proposals for The Grapes pub on Fairfield Street, and alterations to the London Rowing Club. The committee raised objections to the Heliport House proposal, expressed mixed views on The Grapes, and supported the London Rowing Club application.

The Wandsworth Council Planning Applications Committee met in June to discuss a number of planning applications in the borough. Councillors approved plans for a new hotel on Ram Street, and the construction of new dwellings on Hereward Road and Mayford Road. They also approved a request to increase pupil numbers at Finton House School.

The Wandsworth Transport Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss a range of issues, including corporate plan performance, budget monitoring, traffic petitions, updates on major schemes, and the work programme for the committee. Councillors reviewed progress on the Queenstown Road Improvement Scheme and other major projects, and discussed ways to improve engagement with residents on planning and transport issues. The committee also reviewed the annual report on traffic and engineering petitions, and discussed the criteria for addressing resident concerns.

The annual meeting of Wandsworth Council saw Councillor Jeremy Ambache elected as Mayor for the second time, and Councillor Rosemary Birchall appointed as Deputy Mayor. Councillors also approved the appointment of cabinet members, committee members, and representatives to outside bodies. A proposal to create five Deputy Cabinet member positions was approved, despite opposition concerns about the cost.
