The Sutton South, Cheam and Belmont Local Committee met on 3 July 2025, to discuss a Sutton Housing Partnership update, Christmas lights, and local funding. The Sutton Council Planning Committee met on 2 July 2025, and approved a tree preservation order, a residential development, and extensions to a house. The committee voted to confirm a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) for a Copper Beech, grant permission for the erection of 8 two-storey and 1 single storey attached dwellings, and grant permission for the erection of a single-storey side and rear extension.

Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee - Thursday, 26th June, 2025 7.00 pm

The Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss a range of topics, including updates on the council's corporate plan, waste management contracts, and e-bike services. The committee was also expected to review the performance of the Forest e-bike scheme and consider the future of e-bike provision in the borough.
