The Sutton Council Planning Committee met on 2 July 2025, and approved a tree preservation order, a residential development, and extensions to a house. The committee voted to confirm a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) for a Copper Beech, grant permission for the erection of 8 two-storey and 1 single storey attached dwellings, and grant permission for the erection of a single-storey side and rear extension.
Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday, 26th June, 2025 10.30 am
The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider an application for a new premises licence for the KFC at 200-202 High Street, Sutton. The committee decided to grant the application, allowing the KFC to offer late night refreshments between 23:00 and 02:00, subject to a number of conditions. These conditions related to CCTV, security, noise management and litter control, and included additional measures requested by both the applicant and the sub-committee.
