The Health Scrutiny Committee scrutinises health-related matters for Barking and Dagenham.

It supports the Council's work by reviewing key decisions made by the Cabinet and other decision-makers, with the power to 'Call-In' decisions for reconsideration if they are not yet implemented. The committee also reviews matters concerning partner organisations, particularly those related to health, to ensure public authorities operate effectively and in the public interest within Barking and Dagenham.
