Purpose

Consideration of 3 formal objections received
in response to the formal
advertising of an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO)
relating to an Active Travel Neighbourhood comprising Saltaire
Village and Park Street, Saltaire, and whether the ETRO should be
made permanent.

Following complaints of Saltaire village being used for
‘through traffic’ purposes, on 20th November 2020 (and
as part of the programme year 2021/22), West Yorkshire Combined
Authority allocated funding to introduce an Active Travel
Neighbourhood (ATN)

to the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, pursuant to
Article 14.20 of the Constitution hereby resolve: -

i) That the three objections be overruled.

ii) That the formally advertised Experimental Traffic Regulation
Order incorporating those drawings outlined within the
‘Appendices’ section of this Decision Sheet and which
came into operation on 21st July 2022 be made permanent and that
the permanent legal Order be Sealed.

iii) That the objectors be advised accordingly
