RECOMMENDATION FROM THE REGENERATION AND ENVIRONMENT OVERVIEW
AND SCRUTINY COMMITTEE – CALLED-IN DECISION - REPORT ON THE
USE OF GLYPHOSATE FOR WEED CONTROL WITHIN BRADFORD METROPOLITAN
DISTRICT COUNCIL
 
Councillor Ferriby
moved and Councillor Hinchliffe seconded
the proposal to release the decision for implementation.
 
Councillor Caroline
Whitaker moved and Councillor Watson
seconded the proposal to refer the decision back to the Executive
to adopt the recommendations put forward by the Regeneration and
Environment Overview and Scrutiny Committee on 19 March 2024 which
was put to the vote and was lost.
 
The proposal to release the
decision for implementation was then put to the vote and was
carried.
 
Resolved –
 
That the decision of the
Executive taken on 1 October 2024 be released for
implementation.

RECOMMENDATION FROM LICENSING COMMITTEE - PROPOSED STATEMENT OF
LICENSING PRINCIPLES 2025-2027 UNDER THE GAMBLING ACT 2005, FOR
APPROVAL BY FULL COUNCIL
 
Resolved
–
 
(1)        
That Appendix 1 to Document “A”, the
Statement of Licensing Principles for the Bradford District 2025-27
pursuant to the Gambling Act 2005 (as set out in the updated
Appendix 1 to the Licensing Committee Document A) be adopted and
published.
 
(2)      
That the Assistant Director Waste, Fleet, Environmental
Health and
Licensing be given delegated authority to    approve any necessary amendments of a
minor or drafting nature prior to formal publication.
