Purpose

The formal advertisement of the amendment
Traffic Regulation Order for the movement restrictions associated
with the existing Church Bank
bus gate, a new bus lane on Vicar Lane and a review of all other
City Centre bus lanes/gates to allow access for Motorcyclists and
Custody Vehicles. The site-specific exemptions for these bus lanes
will be Busses, Hackney Carriages, Pedal Cyclists, Motor Cyclists
and Custody Vehicles which will match the proposed bus lane
exemptions on Well Street and across the TCF City Centre Cycling
and Walking Improvement scheme.

Content

1) That the amendment Traffic Regulation Order
for the movement of the existing bus lanes/gates in the City Centre
and Vicar Lane bus lane associated with the TCF City Centre Cycling
and Walking Improvement scheme be advertised, and subject to no
objections being received, the Order be sealed and implemented. If
any objections are received and cannot be removed by negotiation,
they will be taken to a future Executive/Committee meeting for
resolution.
