Keighley
 
(1)      
Provided approval for the projects to progress to the next
         stage of
validation.
 

(2)       Acknowledged the
difficulties the Council faces in being able to provide match
funding and assume responsibility for delivering these
projects.

 

(3)       Agreed the Council
continues to try to identify alternative sources of match funding
and a partner to take on the construction risk of the project. In
alignment with this, the Council also continues its discussions
with DLUHC surrounding the terms and conditions of the grant
award. 
 
Bingley
 
(1)      
Provided approval for the projects to progress to the next
         stage of
validation.
 
(2)      
Acknowledged the difficulties the Council faces in being able to
         
provide match funding and assume responsibility for delivering
  these projects.
 
(3)      
Agreed the Council continues to try identify alternative sources of
     match funding for
the project and close the      Bingley Pool gym with immediate
effect.

This would involve us market testing the scheme
as two options (i) as a single entity (ii) as a bundle with the
Town Hall site, to find a development partner who can fund,
construct and operate the project.
 

In alignment with
this, the Council will continue its dialogue with DLUHC surrounding
the terms and conditions of the grant award.

This option will also deliver the savings
identified in the Sports Review.
