To enable essential support with food, fuel
and other support costs to be delivered to those households on the
lowest incomes.

Content

That the Household Support Fund delivery plan
for April to Sept 2024/25 as set out in Table 2 of the report is
approved. Any adjustment to the delivery plan during the 6 months
will be delegated to the Portfolio Holder Employment and Skills in
consultation with the Strategic Director, Adult Social Care and
Health

Alternative options considered

Option 1 - To use the external funding to
support the needs of low income residents and households in the
district
Option 2 - The option not to use external funding in this way was
rejected
