Purpose

The proposal to designate 8 Council owned
sites as National Nature Reserve has met with support from CMT and
Portfolio Holder. Two of the sites (Trench Meadow SSSI and Bingley
North Bog) were included in the Council’s disposal programme.
This decision confirms that they will be removed from the programme
and retained as integral parts of the NNR.
