Purpose

This report will propose social housing (HRA)
rents and rates for dwellings and service charges for leaseholders
for 2025-26.

Executive approved:
 
(1)      The
increase in rent by 2.7% in line with the Social Housing
      Regulators
Rent Standard of CPI (1.7% as at September          2024)
plus 1% for Council housing stock from 1 April
2025
 
(2)       The increase in
service charges by 2.7% (CPI + 1%) to enable the         HRA recover
the associated costs of providing services to extra       care housing tenants which
are specific to their tenancies.
