Full council record
Purpose

The report sets out a proposed strategy for
the roll out of CCTV enforcement of a range of moving traffic
offences which fall under the powers conferred on the Council by
the Secretary of State for Transport under Part 6 of the Traffic
Management Act for consideration and endorsement. Support for the
strategy's core selection criteria, used to identify potential
enforcement sites, will be sought by demonstrating how these can be
applied to tackle dangerous driving, improving road safety and the
general operation of the highway network.
