Purpose

1. Approval for a Traffic Regulation Order for
minor amendments to parking arrangements on various roads in
Bradford East was granted by the Bradford East Area Committee on 24
April 2025.

2. Issues at two additional sites in Bradford East have been
identified as follows:
i. Amberley Street – parking in the vicinity of the junction
with Leeds Road
creates congestion and access issues. Waiting restrictions have
been
requested.
ii. 139 Gladstone Street – there is an existing informal Blue
Badge Parking
Place but this is regularly occupied by general vehicles. The
conversion of this existing facility to a formalised bay will
enable appropriate enforcement action to restrict use of the bay to
Blue Badge holders only.

3. This decision seeks approval to add sites at Amberley Street and
Gladstone Street to the 2025-26 Bradford East Various Sites Traffic
Regulation Order.
