Purpose

The report summarises some key activity
undertaken during the period  from April
2023 to date through partnership working with the Mayor of West
Yorkshire and West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) on shared
priorities,  and looks ahead to the
forthcoming year.

Resolved –
 
(1)       Executive noted and
commented on the contents of Document           
“A”.
 
(2)       Executive reaffirmed
Bradford Council’s commitment to working         in partnership
with the Mayor of West Yorkshire and as part of     the      West Yorkshire Combined
Authority; and
 
(3)       Welcomed the opportunity
presented by further devolution        and work with WYCA
and the other West Yorkshire Local     Authorities to ensure that optimal
benefits are realised for       our region and for our
district.
