Purpose
The City Region Sustainable Transport
Settlements (CRSTS) funding programme is a significant investment
by the UK government aimed at improving local transport networks in
various city regions across England.
This report will outline the projects included
in Bradford's CRSTS Programme, detailing project funding
allocations, programme timelines, and key risks.
Content
Resolved –
That
Executive:
(1) Approved the £143.2
million Bradford CRSTS programme
detailed in Document “E” which includes the expenditure
for
development and delivery of the specified projects. The
delivery
and expenditure on the CRSTS programme will be subject to an
annual report
to Executive for each of the remaining years of the programme and
recommendations 2) and 3) below.
(2) Delegated authority to
the Strategic Director of Place in
conjunction with the Interim Strategic Director of Corporate
Resources and the Director of Legal and Governance to
enter into any Grant
Funding Agreement or Deed of Variation required to
secure funding for the delivery of the £143.2 million
Bradford CRSTS
programme.
(3) Delegated authority to
the Strategic Director of Place, in consultation with the Interim
Strategic Director of Corporate
Resources, the Director of
Legal and Governance and the Portfolio Holder to:
i) Manage the Bradford
CRSTS programme as appropriate to meet changing
circumstances.
ii)
As may be required, carry out the procurement of
specialist external services to advise the Council on matters
relating to the delivery or proposals in accordance with Contract
Standing Orders and UK public procurement
legislation.
