Resolved –
 

1.         
That Members note and comment on the information
provided in the report, to support ongoing work seeking to address
the main challenges outlined, and to advocate for tobacco control
policies and initiatives.  Specifically:
 

2.            
That the health, social and economic impact of
tobacco and smoking in Bradford be acknowledged and that the
objectives and action plan be supported.

 

3.         
That the Living Well smoking cessation services
and access be promoted to staff, constituents and members of
stakeholder organisations

 

4.         
That it is acknowledged that there is expert
advice, advocacy tools and opportunities for collaboration to
interested stakeholders available.

 

5.         
That smokefree environmental initiatives and
media campaigns via public health messages be
supported.

by: The Strategic Director, Adult Social Care and
