Purpose

1. Planning permission has been granted for a
housing development comprising of 42 dwellings, including 38
affordable dwellings, means of access and associated work on land
between Wallbank Drive and Valley Road.
2. In order to facilitate safe vehicular and pedestrian movements
in the vicinity of the development, it is proposed to introduce a
Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) to introduce ‘No Waiting At
Any Time’ restrictions on Wallbank Drive, Valley Road,
Wharncliffe Road, Shipley Fields Road, Clare Fold and Fenton Fold
and Speed Limit Order (SLO) for a 20mph speed limit along the full
length of Wallbank Drive, Clare Fold, Fenton Fold and part length
of Wharncliffe Road. The latter would then tie in with an existing
20mph area.

i) That authorisation be given to prepare and
advertise a Traffic Regulation Order for waiting restrictions on
lengths of Wallbank Drive, Valley Road, Wharncliffe Road, Shipley
Fields Road, Clare Fold and Fenton Fold, and a proposed Speed Limit
Order (SLO) for a 20mph speed limit along the full length of
Wallbank Drive, Clare Fold, Fenton Fold and part length of
Wharncliffe Road.
ii) That any valid objections to the Orders be submitted to the
Bradford West Area Committee for consideration or, in the event of
there being no valid objections the Orders be sealed and
implemented as advertised
