Purpose

1. Planning permission has been granted for
the development of commercial premises on land at the junction of
Station Road and Canal Road.
2. To facilitate safe vehicular and pedestrian movements, a Traffic
Regulation Order (TRO) is required to introduce No Waiting At Any
Time restrictions on Station Road/Canal Road in the vicinity of the
new site access. The scheme also includes the extension of the
existing central island on Canal Road, which requires modification
to existing Dual Carriageway and Banned U-turn TRO’s

Content

i) That authorisation be given to prepare and
advertise a Traffic Regulation Order for waiting restrictions on
Station Road and Canal Road, Bradford.
ii) That authorisation be given to prepare and advertise a Traffic
Regulation Order for the extension of existing Dual Carriageway and
Banned U-turn restrictions along part of Canal Road,
Bradford.
iii) That any valid objections to the Orders be submitted to the
Bradford East Area Committee for consideration or, in the event of
there being no valid objections the Orders be made, sealed and
implemented as advertised.
