Purpose
1. Planning permission has been granted for a
development of comprising of new residential dwellings, providing
semi-detached properties, on land west of Bierley Lane/School
Street, Tong. The dwellings are to be arranged around one main
road, leading to a number of cul-de-sacs. The main road link into
the access junction is approved as part of the outline planning
permission.
2. In order to facilitate safe vehicular movements and maintain
sight lines around the proposed new junction on Bierley Lane into
the development, a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) to introduce No
Waiting At Any Time restrictions is required. The scheme is a
requirement of the planning permission and has been secured via a
Section 278 legal agreement.
Content
i) That authorisation be given to prepare and
advertise a Traffic Regulation Order for waiting restrictions on
Bierley Lane, Tweed Drive and Fell Close, Tong ward.
ii) That any valid objections to the Order be submitted to the
Bradford South Area Committee for consideration or, in the event of
there being no valid objections the Order be made, sealed and
implemented as advertised
