Consideration by
Executive in relation to the Council’s appointments to the
Business Improvement Districts across the Bradford
district
 

Content

Resolved –
 

(1)          
That the request for the Portfolio Holder – Regeneration,
Planning and Transport to continue representing the Council as
director on the board of the Bradford Business Improvement District
Limited and as the Council as company member’s representative
be approved.

 

(2)          
That the Council’s membership of Keighley BID C.I.C. as a
levy payer and the appointment of the Portfolio Holder for
Regeneration, Planning and Transport as the representative for the
Council as a member of the BID company be confirmed.
 

(3)          
That it be noted that should the Portfolio Holder for
Regeneration, Planning and Transport be required to represent the
Council as a director on the board of Keighley B.I.D. C.I.C., a
further report to confirm this appointment will be
submitted.
 

(4)          
That it be noted that in respect of Ilkley BID Ltd the Council
may only nominate an officer of the Council as a member
representative and as a director. Directors should be duly
appointed representatives of the member. Should a director’s
appointment be required, the appointment of the relevant officer
will be dealt with by the Director of Legal and Governance in
consultation with the Leader of the Council but could only be made
where the officer is already appointed as the Council’s
member representative.
