Resolved –
 
That the application
for a premises licence for 3-5 Oak Lane, Bradford, BD9 4PU, be
refused.
 
Reason – The
Panel had no confidence in light of the
evidence heard from the applicant, that the applicant would be able
to meet and uphold one or more of the Licensing Objectives, in
particular Prevention of Crime and Disorder, Public Safety, and
Protection of Children from Harm. The Panel also felt that the
applicant had failed to demonstrate that he had sufficient
understanding of a licence holder’s legal responsibilities
under the licensing regime as he did not appear to fully understand
the requirements of the Challenge 25 Policy or the Licensing
Objectives themselves.
