TRANSIT SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK JOINT LOCAL PLAN AND MEMBER

Resolved –
 

(1)       That the agreement to prepare a
joint Mass Transit Spatial Development Framework Part 1 Joint
Development Plan Document (DPD) be approved.

(2)      That
setting up a Joint
Members Committee to oversee the drafting of the joint Mass Transit
Spatial Development Framework Part 1 Joint DPD be
approved.

That the
Local Development Scheme 2025 (LDS 2025) with the
inclusion
of the
commitment to the joint Mass Transit Spatial Development
Framework
Part 1 as a Joint Development Plan Document to take
effect
from the date of Full Council (14 October 2025) be
adopted.

RECOMMENDATIONS FROM GOVERNANCE AND AUDIT
COMMITTEE – CONSTITUTION REVIEW – COUNCIL STANDING
ORDERS AND CALL-IN ARRANGEMENTS
 
Resolved –
 

(1) 
That the proposed amendments to Council Standing
Orders, including making Council Standing Orders gender neutral as
set out in Appendix 1 to Document “B” be
adopted.

(2) 
That the proposed amendments to the Overview and
Scrutiny Procedure Rules as set out in Appendix 2 to Document
“B” be adopted.

(3) 
That all Elected Members familiarise themselves
with and adhere to Council Standing Orders 12.4 and 12.11 as
detailed in Document “B”.

(4) 
That the Director of Legal and Governance be
granted delegated authority to make consequential amendments to the
Constitution as a result of any recommendations approved by
Council.

(5) 
That the Director of Legal and Governance ensures
that any agreed amendments are implemented.

Document “L”) be adopted.
