Purpose

The report sets out the revised Statement of
Community Involvement (SCI). The SCI outlines how the public and
stakeholders will be engaged on planning matters including the
local plan and development management. The last SCI was adopted by
the Council in 2018 with a variation in 2021 due to covid. It is
required to be updated ahead of the next stage of the local plan
preparation to ensure a sound approach.

Content

Resolved –
 
(1)      That the updated Bradford
District Statement of Community Involvement (2025), as set out in
Appendix C to Document         
“AK”, be adopted.
 
(2)      That authority be
delegated to make minor changes to content to          through
the Executive Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, Planning and
Transport and the Assistant Director (Planning, Transportation and
Highways) prior to publication of        the adoption notice
with supporting papers.
