Content
Resolved that the Area Committee:
(1)
Acknowledge the significant role of the Road
Safety Team’s education, training, and publicity initiatives
in reducing casualties and promoting safer road behaviours across
Bradford District, with particular success among vulnerable young
road users.
(2)
Endorse the continued exploration of enhanced
road safety education opportunities that would enable the team to
reach a broader range of schools and community groups, reinforcing
safe road behaviours at all levels.
(3)
Emphasise the importance of collaboration with
regional partners, law enforcement, and community organisations,
reinforcing the reach and sustainability of the district’s
road safety objectives.
(4)
Promote initiatives that encourage public
participation in road safety, including interactive events and
digital campaigns aimed at building a culture of safety and
responsibility across the district.
