Purpose

CBMDC are engaged in the regionally funded and procured Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) project, this was approved by the Executive on 04/02/2025. The approval included accepting and spending £3.1million of grant funding from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. This Decision Notice is to document the extension of the LEVI Capability Funding Grant Funding to allow CBMDC to claim from this fund up until April 2028 and to document the acceptance of a further £89,000 of revenue funding. This will allow CBMDC to continue to work on the LEVI Project as per the direction from the Exec decision.

Decision

To accept the extension of the LEVI Capability Grant Funding and the additional £89,000 of revenue funding and continue to fund officer time on the LEVI Project. This will see a £89,000 additional grant total accepted to the original grant total approved by the Exec for the project.
