Decision

Resolved –

(1)           That Councillor Cumming (Reform) replace Councillor Kirk (Conservative) as Chair of the Corporate Overview and Scrutiny Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(2)           That Councillor Riaz Ahmed (Liberal Democrats) remain as a member on the Bradford East Area Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(3)           That Councillor Sunderland (Liberal Democrats) be appointed as a member on the Bradford East Area Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(4)           That Councillor Griffiths (Liberal Democrats) and Councillor Naylor (Liberal Democrats) be appointed as alternate members on the Bradford East Area Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(5)           That Councillor Griffiths (Liberal Democrats) replace Councillor Riaz Ahmed (Liberal Democrats) as a member on the Health and Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(6)           That Councillor Sunderland (Liberal Democrats) be appointed as an alternate member on the Health and Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(7)           That Councillor Sunderland (Liberal Democrats) replace Councillor Thompson-Day (Reform) as a member on the Children’s Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(8)           That Councillor Naylor (Liberal Democrats) replace Councillor Thewlis (Reform) as an alternate member on the Children’s Services Overview & Scrutiny Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(9)           That Councillor Naylor (Liberal Democrats) replace Councillor Saliss (Bradford Independent Group) as a member on the Licensing Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(10)        That the following non-voting co-opted members be appointed to the Health and Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee for the 2026/27 Municipal Year:

Ann-Marie Bentley, Bradford Co-Production Partnership

Trevor Ramsay – Supporting Involvement Group, Bradford District NHS Foundation Care Trust

Lukman Miah – Community Health and Wellbeing

(11)        That Councillor Sellers (Conservative) replace Councillor Winnard (Conservative) as an alternate member on the Corporate Overview and Scrutiny Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(12)        That Councillor Winnard (Conservative) replace Councillor Sellers (Conservative) as an alternate member on the Health and Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(13)        That Councillor Sajawal (Bradford Independent Group) replace Councillor Lal (Labour) as Chair of the Standards Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.

(14)        That Councillor Lal (Labour) be appointed Deputy Chair of the Standards Committee for the remainder of the 2026/27 Municipal Year.
